Maple & Oak Woodworks is a small woodworking business based in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. We design and make wood products for sale through our website at mapleandoakww.ca and our Etsy store.

By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are purchasing on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

3. Orders and Payment

Placing an order: When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, including due to product unavailability, errors in pricing or product description, or suspected fraud.

Order confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation when your order is received. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order - acceptance occurs when your order is fulfilled and shipped.

Pricing: All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where required by law. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If a pricing error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding.

Payment: Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor at the time of purchase. We do not store your full payment card details.

Custom orders: Custom and personalised orders are not available for direct checkout through our website. To place a custom order, please contact us at sales@mapleandoakww.ca to discuss your requirements. Once we have agreed on the specifications and price, we will arrange a 50% deposit payment before work begins, with the remaining balance due before shipment. Full payment details will be provided at that time.

4. Shipping and Returns

Shipping and returns are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, which form part of these Terms & Conditions. Please review both policies before placing an order.

5. Products

Handmade nature of our products: Our products are handmade from natural wood. Variations in grain, colour, and texture are inherent to the material and are not considered defects. Product photos are representative - your item may vary slightly in appearance.

Custom and personalised items: Custom orders are made to agreed specifications. It is your responsibility to ensure that all details provided (dimensions, text, design) are accurate before confirming your order. We are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.

Product availability: We do our best to keep product listings accurate, but availability is not guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or a refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website - including text, photographs, product designs, logos, and branding - is the property of Maple & Oak Woodworks and is protected by Canadian copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use (such as sharing a link or saving a photo for your own reference) is permitted.
